Bill Cosby Sexual Assault Allegations

Statement Analysis of one of the victim's statement shows veracity and reliability.

We now learn that when asked on NPR radio, something generally considered favorable to Cosby, went unanswered by the actor.

This is similar to avoiding the question, indicating sensitivity.

This may be another example of a celebrity, so beloved by his fans, that fans "look the other way" at something so egregious as rape.

I encountered this on several occasions, over the years, in live trainings.  By my own observations, it seemed that a few Michael Jackson fans, female, and of an age where they would have loved his music/dancing during their teenaged years, struggled with the analysis.

This is a good reminder for all of us that we all share in the fragility of human nature.  It was concerning that in training investigators, some allowed personal feelings to interfere with analysis, yet it was encouraging to see others embrace the principles of analysis as true, while admitting that they wished it was not so for the victims of Michael Jackson.  Still others said that they would not allow it to "spoil" their love of his music.  This is something, for me, personally, that would be a challenge.

Better still is Heather's approach when she says, "Don't tell me about Bob Hope's private life; it will ruin the movies!"

Fans of Bill Cosby, particularly his "father figure" persona from "The Cosby Show" or fans of his humorous commentary on life, are faced with his silence in the face of the allegations.

His attorney called the allegations, "decades old", as if they ought to be dismissed due to the passage of time, as well as "discredited" which is to avoid saying "untrue."

The language of the victim was consistent and you can read the analysis and decide for yourself.

As to the NPR show:

"This question gives me no pleasure, Mr. Cosby, but there have been serious allegations raised about you in recent days," Simon said.
The transcript shows "[[SILENCE]]" from Cosby.
"You're shaking your head no," Simon continued. "I'm in the news business. I have to ask the question. Do you have any response to those charges?"
Later, Simon took to Twitter with this post: "He began to shake his head as soon as I began the sentence. We both -- we all -- knew what I was talking about."

The Letterman Show appears to have dropped Crosby from its schedule.

Barbara Bowman's statement with analysis is HERE.  This is particularly helpful for those who have requested more samples of truthful statements analyzed, and show what consistency and honesty in a statement looks like. Bowman alleged: 'I was drugged and raped by that man. He is a monster. He came at me like a monster.
'My hope is that others who have experienced sexual abuse will not be intimidated into silence by the famous, rich and powerful. If I can help one victim, then I've done my job.'

Keep a look out for the upcoming book on missing children, including Maddy McCann, Baby Lisa, and others of whom parents were not truthful...I'd love to hear from readers about a title.  Thanks in advance.
