Was Shia Labouf Raped?

Actor Shia Lebouf claimed to have been raped.

Is it true?

Here is his statement. Some say it is a publicity stunt.  Is he truthful?

"One woman who came with her boyfriend, who was outside the door when this happened, whipped my legs for ten minutes and then stripped my clothing and proceeded to rape me. ...There were hundreds of people in line when she walked out with disheveled hair and smudged lipstick. It was no good, not just for me but her man as well. On top of that my girl (actress Mia Goth) was in line to see me, because it was Valentine's Day and I was living in the gallery for the duration of the event -- we were separated for five days, no communication. So it really hurt her as well, as I guess the news of it traveled through the line. When she came in she asked for an explanation, and I couldn't speak, so we both sat with this unexplained trauma silently. It was painful."

Here is the statement again, with emphasis added:

"One woman who came with her boyfriend, who was outside the door when this happened, whipped my legs for ten minutes and then stripped my clothing and proceeded to rape me.

Note "one woman" and not "a" woman, or even "the" woman is stated by number.  This is expected when more than "one" is present, as it is numerical. What is the purpose of using a number?

"Proceeded" indicates a passing of time and unfolding of events.  Proceeded means that other things happened during this time, that are not mentioned.

Note "with" between people shows distance.  He brings the boyfriend into the rape statement, yet puts distance between her and her boyfriend.

1.  whipped my legs
2.  stripped my clothing (and not "me")
3.  "proceeded" to rape me

note the inclusion of "door" (being "outside") "when this happened", which is also passive.

Passivity is used to conceal identity or responsibility.  It is often used by deceptive people.

...There were hundreds of people in line when she walked out with disheveled hair and smudged lipstick.

Note the inclusion of an unnecessary element. What do the "hundreds of people" have to do with "rape"?  Note he does not say that they witnessed her, nor witnessed anything.  He does not say they saw her, but she "walked out";
if something took place, it may be that "one woman" "walked out" on him.

It was no good, not just for me but her man as well.

Note that "it was no good" is passive language.
Note the inclusion of the boyfriend, who is now "her man."

Is there anything within the statement that justifies the change of "boyfriend" to "her man"?

"It was no good", being passive language, is the connected also to "her man."

On top of that my girl (actress Mia Goth) was in line to see me, because it was Valentine's Day

The name of "my girl" is not part of his statement.  This is an incomplete social introduction and indicative of a problematic relationship.
Note the need to explain why his "girl" came to see him as very sensitive.

this is critical in understanding his statement.

What is the difference, in his own language, between "my girl" and "my girlfriend"?

and I was living in the gallery for the duration of the event

The location of his living is given and is sensitive to him.  She was not living there with him.

-- we were separated for five days, no communication. So it really hurt her as well, as I guess the news of it traveled through the line.

For him and her boyfriend it was "no good" but for his "girl" it "really hurt" which also suggests that he cheated on her.

He only "guesses" the "news" traveled through the line.

When she came in she asked for an explanation, and I couldn't speak, so we both sat with this unexplained trauma silently.

She "asked" for an explanation of "rape", which requires no explanation.
Note the tension from body posture "sat" in his statement.

It was painful.

This is not only passive language, but it comes last in his statement.

The passivity does not tell us for whom it was painful.  This suggests that he was caught cheating on his girlfriend.

I do not think this is a publicity stunt, as stated by some in media, but a deceptive response to being caught cheating.

He was not raped and the sensitivity about his "girl" indicates why he is deceptive.
